Yousef Shamoun is the Co-founder and CEO of ZenHR Solutions, an HR software solutions provider that caters to the MENA region. Prior to expanding into the HR space in 2017, ZenHR Solutions started as Akhtaboot, one of the largest online job boards for the MENA region in 2007. Alongside ZenHR Solutions, Yousef also co-founded the Arabic card gaming website Jawaker. As of December 2018, Jawaker had more than 800,000 unique monthly players on its platform. Yousef is a member of the HR High Performance Forum in Jordan. Yousef also serves on the board of ZenHR Solutions, Jawaker, Entrepreneurs Organization, and St. Vincent De Paul Society. Yousef frequently attends and speaks at Human Resources and entrepreneurial conferences and events, sharing his passion and experience in the SaaS and HR worlds. He also made several appearances on TV and radio and has been quoted as an HR expert in a number of top newspapers in the Middle East. Yousef earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in Canada in 2001 and completed his MBA from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 2006 with a specialization in Entrepreneurship.
